The services of our company as a Customs Agent were born in the year 1987, with the strong commitment to offer optimal and quality services to the international commerce of Mexico. Our Corporation has operated continually since its inception to create a firm infrastructure of sustainable growth which aims to secure our client’s supply chain operations.

From our humble initiation with assets consisting of a single office and a warehouse of 5,000 square feet and 10 employees, we have broaden into a Corporation with six offices located in the most important ports of Mexico. Today our warehouse consists of 127,840 square feet and is strategically located to service the NAFTA corridor in Laredo Texas. Our Human Resource consists of 150 team members.

Due to the success of our company, we initiated the consolidation our enterprises by creating Corporative Alvarez in the year 2000. Corporativo Alvarez groups a set of companies which offer an ample set of supply chain management solutions. Best American Forwarding represents our freight forwarding and warehousing agency. Carlos Alvarez y Cia. represents our Mexican custom broker agency. Carlos Alvarez CHB represents our US custom broker agency. Lastly, CAMANA Logistics, LLC serves as the primary third party logistics provider and freight broker.

Today, Corporativo Alvarez is under the direction of Carlos Alvarez Mendiola, CEO and Chairman of the board. He is supported by second generation customs brokers Carlos Alvarez Mejia, Vice-President of Operations and Chief Operating Officer, and Diego Alvarez Mejia, Vice-President of Finance and Chief Administrative Officer.
